Cannon Street Hamilton

516 Cannon Street on the corner of Greenaway Avenue and Cannon Street in Hamilton.

This two shelf Little Free Library was well stocked, I exchanged a book on my visit.
This Little Free Library has a roof top garden, I visited past growing season.

I parked across the street at a coffee shop, taking a break from driving around visiting Little Free libraries and book exchanges.

This Little Free Library was build by Hamilton District High See List of Little Free Libraries Built by HDCH

From the Steward of this LFL:
Cannon St. Little Free Library

Hamilton -- corner of Cannon and Greenaway The Cannon St. Little Free Library welcomes all readers. Children's books are stocked on the lower shelf, including a selection of teen/young adult titles, and a range of adult books on the upper shelf.

The community has really taken to the cabinet of wonders: a neighbour contributed two books before the library was even officially opened! Since then uptake has been high: once restocked the library is frequently picked clean in a couple of days.

Contributions are often eclectic: the selected works of Karl Marx, Bookcrossing books, and poetry zines have all been donated, and all were quickly borrowed.

The steward also sent in updated pictures of her Little Free Library

  1. Thanks for the comment and the visit! The LFL has had a paint job since your visit and looks much spiffier and *brighter* (important for the winter months!) And the roof garden promises extra colour come Spring.
