Every January 2nd is Science Fiction Day chosen to correspond with the official birth date of famed science fiction writer Isaac Asimov. Put some Science Fiction books in your book exchange or Little Free Library

January 4th is Trivia Day, share trivia books with your visitors

January 4th World Braille Day, If you have any braille books to share with your visitors, now is your chance.

January 16th Appreciate A Dragon Day, have any dragon books to share?

January 18th 2019 is Thesaurus Day, if you have a Thesaurus to share with your Little Free Library visitors today is the day.

January 18th is Winnie the Pooh Day Winnie the Pooh Day, celebrated on the birthday of author A A Milne, celebrate by sharing Winnie the Pooh

February 24 – March 2, 2019 Freedom to Read Freedom to Read Week is an annual event that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom, which is guaranteed them under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

January 26th is Australia Day Any books by Australian authors or Australia, today is the day to share them.

January 27th National Geographic Day not everyone likes magazines in Little Free Libraries (I do in moderation) share a National Geographic book or magazine.

January 30th Bell Let's Talk Day share books about mental health or emotions.

All of February Library Lovers’ Month

First Saturday in February Take Your Child To The Library Day Encourage young readers with children's books in yoiur Little Free Library or book exchange.

February 1st World Read Aloud Day Encourage readers to read aloud.

February 2nd Candlemas Day and Groundhog Day share books about spring and winter. February 9th Read In The Bathtub Day Share a waterproof book, or a book about baths.

Febuary 14 Valentine's Day share books about love.

February 15th Hippo Day Share a book about Hippos.

February 16th World Whale Day and World Pangolin Day Share some animal books.

February 26th Tell A Fairy Tale Day, share a fairy tale book.

February 27, 2019 Polar Bear Day organized by Polar Bears International a chance to share a book about polar bears.
