UPDATE The steward sent me a new photo of her library, after it got a new look.
The steward of the library at 937 Dunsmure Road, sent me this information about her library:
My LFL was started about 2 years ago for my mom who lives with us. During the covid when everything was closed. I noticed a few LFLs around my area 3 at the time (A few
more have popped up since). My mom started walking the square to get books and also add books to the LFL. It was a way to get her out so she wasn't so isolated and to keep up her love for reading since she wasn't able to go to her day program or the library.
I decided I wanted to put our own up and hope to help others like it helped my mom. It's amazing! A bunch of our fabulous neighbors actually helped put it up with my husband. One of our senior neighbors across the street loves to help take care of it as well. We have alot of kids walk by before and after school that also loves to enjoy it. It's filled with books for all ages. I love the community dropping in to enjoy it.
If you would like to have your Ontario library added to this blog see Add Your Library. The information on this blog post was provided to me by the steward, incuding the pictures.
